Default Sword Mod Question

I have a Falchion with the following atributes:

Slashing Dmg 15-22
DMG +15% when health is above 50%
Swordmanship +1 (19% chance when using skill)
Armor Penetration +20% (Chance 19%)
Dmg +20% (for being customized)

I would like to eventually upgrade both the Swordmanship and Armor Penetration to 20% chance.

My question is:
Would it be better to replace the sword pommel of swordmanship with one of Fortitude and get +29 hit points (This I would eventually upgrade to a +30 hp) or is the Swordmanship +1 better?

I basically use the character for PvE with a little Pvp.

Thanks

Pommels of Swordsmanship aren't really worth the bother in my opinion. I don't even think 1 point is going to make that great a difference and it's totally redundant if you pack no Swordsman skills

It's best to replace it with a Fortitude or Defense one.

It'd be a start to scrap the Sundering mod.

Fortitude (or even Armor mod) will help much more than Sword mod, yes.

We'll all tell you that Sundering is crap (doesnt add that much dmg), but for SOME reason all new players think its the holy grail of mods so if we cant change your mind, then so be it

Vamp and zealous rock...and depending on what you are doing...certain types of damage is nice to... Ice golems...weak vs fiery hilt...Fire imp...weak vs icy....Avicara...weak vs lighting(shocking) hilt. So it really depends on what you are doing there are benefits and drawbacks to all mods So i would suggest playing around with them and see what u personally like best...but if u are going for straight damage per second then vamp hilt is the best for pure damage as it takes an additional 3 health from target.
